The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Revatio® 20MG tablets, a brand-name version of Cialis® 20MG. The active ingredient in Revatio® 20MG is tadalafil, which is also the generic name for Cialis® 20MG.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Revatio® 20MG contains the same active ingredient as Cialis® 20MG, as well as the same clinically significant dose of the medication. This is not the first time that Revatio® 20MG has been used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men.
Pfizer has not received any reports of serious side effects related to Revatio® 20MG. While serious side effects may occur, they are extremely rare. The FDA is advising consumers not to purchase or use Revatio® 20MG, as the active ingredient in the medication may cause serious adverse events.
